Long time no post. I have a 2019 Toyota Prius Prime with the Advanced Package. My phone is reasonably new and runs Android. When I fist purchased my car it came with 2 years or so of that Toyota Safety Connect. I did not renew it when it expired. I used to use that Toyota Entune App to check the charge level of the plug in battery while I was away from the car. I see that the Entune App has been discontinued.

So my two questions from my fellow Prius owners are these.

    1) Is there still an App that can check the charge level of my car?
    2) Is there a service that is required to get the data to the App such as Toyota Safety Connect?

Thank you very much ahead of time for any responses. :)

The Safety Connect Service is still available @ $80/yr. The App functionality is now in the “Toyota App”. Not all but most (?) and battery charge level does work.

Here's a sample from my video collection showing the Hybrid Assistant app on my Prius Prime.

For the 2017 Advanced, anyway, what works with Toyota App is Charge Level, Start Charge, Turn on Climate Control. That is it. Specifically, Vehicle Finder does NOT work. Which is odd, since the fundamental usage of Safety Connect is to summon help in case of an accident, and the vehicle location is made available to the dispatcher, so the info is clearly available to the system, just not displayable in the App. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason for this is due to the lawyers, not the engineers.
