My family's 2015 Prius had the cat stolen. We took it in and had the cat and the 02 sensor replaced. We barely got it home (it kept acting up when it was driven home), and now it won't even shift into drive - it says "Check hybrid system." I checked all the fuses and they all look good, including the EFI fuse. I used BlueDriver to get the following codes.

P261B Engine Coolant Pump "B" Control Malfunction (x3)

C1259 HV Control System Regenerative Malfunction

    P0A0F Engine Failed to Start

B278C Lost Communication with Power Source Control

    U0142 Mainbody Ecu Communication Circuit

U0155 Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module

U0293 Lost Communication With Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module

Some of the codes may just be when we turned it back on without one of the fuses in. I'm thinking about disconnecting the 12-volt battery again to reset the codes, and turning it back on to see what ones remain.

I hear that during the replacement of the cat, if the wires short, the EFI fuse can blow, but since I don't see that being the case, does that mean the ECM is also fine?

Where should I begin with all those errors above? What should I try to rule out first?

Could just be the 12v battery is low

I had my Cat stolen on my Gen 2 prius. I didn't know that it had happened and thought the car died. I recall getting an error about communication lost to the ECU. I tried swapping the ECU with one I bought online but it didn't make any difference. We were busy moving so I had to tow it to my new house. When I finally got to take a closer look, that's when I found the Cat was stolen. They ripped the wires for the O2 sensor and it shorted them out. After replacing both the Cat & O2 sensor, I checked the fuses and the ECU fuse was blown. That's all I had to do to fix it. Hopefully it's something simple like that.
