If I had a big table to do, I would enter it into a spreadsheet and then export it as a CSV file when completed. Open the CSV file in a text editor (like Notepad or TextEdit) then add the [TABLE=HEAD] and [/TABLE] tags to the beginning and end. Lastly, copy the entire text from the text file and paste it into your post.

It works okay as long as you have no commas in any of the cell data.

It is probably easier to use Google Sheets and link to your spreadsheet from your post.

 

Better yet, at some PriusChat update some number of years ago, the table syntax changed. All the tables in my posts from before then look like kʰɹ̠æp now, and I had to make later ones some other way, and I really don't remember what works now.
