My 2015 Prius (215,000 mi) started making a helicopter noise that became louder over time and increased in speed with the car. I mean loud.
I spun the rear wheels while jacked up and one sounded like grinding bearings, so I replaced the hub and the noise is now gone.

Just wanted to document here incase it could help someone. The noise was strange!

Thank you. I am very glad to see a 2015 with over 200,000 miles. Mine is just getting ready to roll over the first 100,000 miles. So far the car has been completely trouble free.

What (if any) issues did you encounter over the second 100K? Did you ever clean the EGR system and intake manifold? Any oil burning or head gasket problems? I am hopeful that the redesigned piston rings have eliminated these issues for the most part.
