    Hi everyone!

    May be somebody may help.
Used Techstream V17 + Nexiq USB link 2 for code scanning (techstream and cable work perfectly, checked with key programming, activating fan, relays etc.)

Right now I have only P0AA6 code, but when I double click the code to get INF I have just P0AA6 only
May be somebody has advice how to pull INF code. Previously for other codes INF showed up.

After clearing of P0AA6 it gets back in a minute on the dashboard and in Techstream as well.

"P0AA6 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) that indicates a hybrid battery voltage system isolation fault. This code applies to electric vehicles.
The high voltage system is isolated from the low voltage system and the vehicle's frame. If excessive voltage is detected on the low voltage side, code P0AA6 will set. The high voltage system may shut down.
The code P0AA6 can be caused by:
    • A battery isolation fault
    • A high voltage leak in the hybrid battery
    • A fissure in one of the individual battery modules
    • A leak in the battery case
    • A decrease in insulation resistance between the high voltage components and ground
To fix the DTC P0AA6, you can:
    • Visually inspect the related wiring harness and connectors
    • Check for damaged components"

In normal dealer TIS If you click on the code and the snowflake if you see that if not just click on the code when the POA06 or whatever it is opens up on the screen if you look in the line text underneath the code you will see the subcodes in order 1 2 3 I guess it's in their order of priority is my guess I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out where the subcode was because in another code that I had the subcode was right there in the top of the TIS window I can't remember what the code was now but it showed me the three digit subcode right next to that for hybrid battery failure I think not the leakage and the snowflake code was right in the top of the screen when I clicked on it so I was confused when another code this one in particular we're dealing with here came up in another vehicle I'm now own I couldn't figure out why when I clicked on the snowflake I was not getting the subcode right at the top of the screen and big bold black letters next to the code. The reason is because if I read the text that's smaller and the white area all those lines it text you get down about 12 lines and you'll see codes one two and three and then you'll see the subcodes next to the numbers one two and three and so on and so forth I can take a picture if needed but I don't know how to get it posted because my camera's res is too high. But I have this code right now going on in the $700 '07 I just bought and two of the three subcodes are listed as one and two I'm assuming that's order of priority. But reality is the whole battery looks like doggie doo doo it's got corrosion it's got copper wires turning black on the number 10 or whatever number that is that the wires go to etc so until I get the battery sorted I'm expecting to have this type of coding. I'm also not sure if this car is having trouble with the inverter converter not being able to charge the 12 volt but I won't be able to find that out until the hybrid battery is fixed and I have an extra inverter so no problem there and it was working on the car it was on perfectly. So look in the text of the code after you click on it or click on the snowflake and then scroll down when that opens and look for the sub codes 543 6:21 whatever it is I can't remember the numbers they're in that list I promise you if you are TIS works like the dealers.

Right, that's a generic description of what the P0AA6 code means, if you haven't got the more-specific INF code to go with it.

And you can diagnose it that way, if you have to. There are a couple dozen diagnostic steps in the repair manual, and when you have the INF code, you can save time by jumping into the steps at the right place. If you really can't get the INF code, you can still just start at step 1 and churn through them all like an animal.

I'd still try a little harder to get the INF code though. Pretty weird to not be able to get it.

Thanks everybody for the fast replies.
I do usually run snowflake but this time it didn't work.

At first ran the manual to test around inverter wiring, didn't find anything suspicious. So decided to measure each block resistance to the battery case by signal wires that goes into the hybrid battery voltage computer. Finally found one shorted to the battery case.
Now fixing the faulty spot, hope it will help.
    Later will update.

    Final result.
Yes, it did help. After fixing the shorted cell everything is fine, no more codes.
    Thanks for everybody's help.

So you still were not able to get the INF codes even after clicking the snowflake and the code opens up into a big white sheet of paper with lines on it and if you go down that list you will see something like alternate code 1 2 3 I don't know how many numbers there are a couple and in those lines of text your main code is the PO whatever and then down under subcode or alternate code to and three will be lit up with the five and the six code You really didn't see that? The reason that I ask I'm trying to find out if everybody's general copy of TIS or tech stream. Is fundamentally the same.? My copy on my tough book came from a dealer so I'm just trying to see if the pirated copies of the copies coming from other places rented copies from Toyota are they the same Do they function similarly? I thought I couldn't get the sub codes either I kept looking and looking and then I figured out why.
