Hi John, this post is actually from 2014, I’ve installed about six kits since then. I do not have a Prius anymore, I have a 2021 Silverado with a clazzios.

With Toyotas the installation is pretty easy because they used hog rings to attach the covers to the seats

In the Chevy everything is plastic clips and luckily clazzios has them installed - the worst part about the installation is waiting for all of the wrinkles to come out, or actually working out the wrinkles with a heat, gun and wet towel/steam.

The second worst part of course is covering the center consul, it takes the longest to do - on the Toyotas, the door panels, I also covered them. Let me know if you decide to do an install and I can help.

I just ordered the last non-perforated black vinyl (taxi special) Clazzio kit sitting in their California warehouse. Hella expensive, buuuut I want to keep drywall dust and beach sand off of everything and make it easy to vacuum and wipe off vs. perforated vinyl or leather.

The sales guy told me I could flip things inside out and steam them to get wrinkles out, or he said in Alberta they put them in clear plastic bags out in the sunshine to warm up and become pliable. All makes sense.

Ordered custom Manicci floor mats and an Omac cargo liner, too. Now to source the parts to get my BF Thule Box up on top for my "second trunk," where I keep my long & dusty tools. 8)

Hopefully seat cover install goes okay, but might have to come back tot his thread in a couple weeks after I have them.
