Anyone know of the decline rate in battery health?

No, I used techstream until I go the D8.
The hybrid battery charges and discharges steadily.
I keep an eye on it, and when its slow to charge from the 2nd to the 3rd, or it
discharges too fast, I run the Prolong system.
I've run it 3 times so far. And each time it's restored it to normal.

It worked for me. Can't say for anyone else.

You must not be happy about your government because they passed bills without consulting drivers. Following today’s government logic, you must be against democracy then!!!’

When you think about the future, it's scary. The government will raise gas prices to the point where they eliminate ice engines. Then automated ride services will take over. They are vastly more efficient than people using individual cars. If it's 3 times cheaper to use this than own a car, you can guess the way it will go. I think ultimately the government outlaws manual driving. No traffic lights, no insurance, no traffic congestion. All in the name of safety, efficiency and the environment. But then the government will know everywhere you go. The loss of independent driving will be the death knell of freedom in our society. The young kids won't mind, because they've never known anything else than the government ruling their lives. It sickens me to think of it.

I have a profound distrust of liberals who want to make rules for the rest of us. Rules they, of course, are exempt from. What that has to do with Prius battery life? Not much :).

Just read Orwell’s 1984 with Big Brother and the Thought Police? Published in 1949, it stoked parania long before cable news and the unfiltered internet. May have been a factor in the grand fifties paranonia, McCarthyism, where you turned in your peers for suspected communistic tendencies.

Somehow we survived 75 years and modern vehicles are superior in every way and mobility infrastructure is amazing. Still wild paranoia about loss of freedom seems ever present.

Maybe we need more of the other Big Brother:

This is a markedly different situation. The technology of the time periods cannot be compared. When you have no cash and only digital dollars to spend and the government knows everywhere you go, every penny you spend? When jobs are eliminated by AI, such that mass unemployment is the norm? You think that won't be abused by those in power? It won't matter if you're paranoid (me) or a gullible sheep being led to slaughter (you), the outcome will be the same for both of us. All, of course, in the name of the common good. This discussion has strayed from Prius battery life. :).

All this talk about battery health! My 2010 with 143000 miles has the original 12 volt battery and I check it now and then after resting all night and it usually reads 12.3 volts. Have not found any problems with the traction battery and have averaged 53.9 mpg over the last 3200 miles. I assume the traction battery must be up to speed to achieve that mpg. I should add that I checked the last 5 fill ups using the gas metered amount and it averaged 51 mpg. The dash mpg meter/calculator reads high.

That's the same way I check mine and my dash also reads a bit high.

Ride services will self insure. If you don't own a car, why would you need insurance? A car is the most inefficient asset we own. That same capital investment could provide transportation to 4 or 5 people a day. This won't happen overnight, but the sheer economics of the situation guarantees that it does eventually happen. Maybe you and I want car ownership. Kids, not so much. When you've got self driving cars, this is low hanging fruit. There were plenty of wagon wheel makers who thought cars would never replace wagons. You cannot stop technology from moving forward.
