they made a deal with toyota many moons ago. they don't have to follow a lot of the rules that other dealers do.
first, they told toyota to stuff the hybrids. then the plug ins. they are slowly coming around as more customers are asking for them. i don't the they carried the prime at all when it first came out and everybody was coming up to maryland or further to buy one.
secondly, toyota only gets carb credits to sell sequoias in california y selling plug ins in carb states.
i don't think it is electric rates, ours are much higher than yours

Heyyyyyy... I resemble that statement! :p

The 19's definitely look the best up close, but at a distance the gap narrows. And a case can even be made that the hubcaps look kind of cool from afar - particularly against the red and white paint.

I was offered a silver XLE AWD, but I turned it down. I just could not go backwards in fuel economy and pay $4,000 for the privilege of doing so. :cautious: AWD means ABSOLUTELY nothing to me and shouldn't to most others as well. If a car can't make it in FWD on the snow, there's bigger problems at hand. All the weight is on the front tires.

No interest in the faux leather seats, bun warmers, etc. What does peak my interest is the solar roof! I think something like that would be GREAT on a non-Prime as well. I could keep my pup cooled for free.

: ) I get it. I didn’t want AWD but did want Softex except for steering wheel. Corolla Cross XSE has Softex seats with leather steering wheel. They make such bizarre decisions!

Annoyed Toyota isn’t shipping FWDs to shoreline states of New England. Not sure what states closest to New England are getting FWD. Maybe I should have done more research. Just not sure I wanted to handle a long distance purchase. Funding is already coming from another state.

I’m so annoyed with dealership at this point. If they don’t pull through on a couple of fine print issues, I might be walking away from the sale. I know it’s nothing but a little paperwork to them but I’m not dealing with BS.

The US is divided up into distributor regions. Southeast and Gulf States are independent companies from Toyota.

As stated elsewhere in this forum; I got my Prius LE for sticker- no markup, no add-on's. My same dealer is now using 'SRP' and doing dealer markups, but I suspect if you are strong and say you won't pay it, they'll cave. BTW, my Monroney sticker came with the 'addendum' right side sticker in the glove box, with all the add on's listed- KARR security, Window Tint, Diamond Ceramic and 3m Premium Package for an additional $ 3,673 although none of those items were ACTUALLY installed or charged me for my car. My OTD price was $ 28,580 plus taxes and fees of $ 3,310 = $ 31,890 including TAX! So nertz to mertz on that it's installed without an option at the port; that's a bunch of B.S!
