    Greetings everyone,

A few days ago, we spotted water running through the driveway of my wife's brand new Corolla and she panicked and went to Toyota who did a diagnostic and found that rodents (more than likely squirrels) chewed the wiper fluid hose.

It cost $180 to fix as Toyota insisted they had to do a full diagnostic.

Well, sure enough...mine also stopped working this morning.

It this an easy fix for a Prius-C?

I read that the tube must be wrapped with rodent tape. Will need to check to make sure nothing else was damaged, especially the cooler inverter tubing.

May need to find out if they sell anti-rodent tape after reading this article.

^ Never know what to call this stuff; has a lot weird names. I call it conduit wrap. Not rodent proof, but readily available, and should slow them down.

Is there a full-of-stuff garage at the head of the driveway? That's not always easy to address, I know.

Unfortunately, it's my work area. A lot of trees and a field full of squirrels. But I'll look to see if I can find the conduit wrap.

    Wire loom.

If there's a split running along it so that you can (with surprising difficulty) spread it open and put your wires (or washer hoses) in ... split loom.

But unless you can get it in extra-spicy, I'm not sure the critters wouldn't just munch on that too.
