I own a 2005 prius package b -"no nav and no integrated bluetooth"

I have done about five fun-filled hours of web searching and found tons of information about the prius, except installing aftermarket bluetooth kits. Hope the commuinty can help me out.
I am installing a motorola hf850 car kit.
    The directions state:

    1) Connect the motorola fuse kit's green ignition sense wire (3 amp fuse) to an ignition-switched location on the fuse box.
Does anyone else know where the ignition-switched location on the fuse box is?

    2) Connect the motorola power cable's orange entertainment mute wire to the vehicle's entertainment system.
I believe that my stereo system has an entertainment jack or fuse, being that bluetooth is an option in package d, but where is it? Will it require a relay?

    3) Connect the motorola fuse kit's red positive lead (4 amp fuse) to a point in the vehicles fuse box THAT is fused a 4 to 5 amps.
Where is the fuse box and is that the same place where the ignition switch is?

    4) Connect the motorola fuse kit's black ground wire to the chassis.
I assume as long as the black wire is touching the metal frame, I'm grounded.

I can do wiring and splicing without a problem, but I'm lost when it comes to prius electronics.

I will post progress pictures if all goes well and we can post it in the diy audio section.

Very easy... Not only for your Prius for other cars too.

    Buy the following:

    -Connector for your car
-Parrot Bluetooth kit the one that you like.

    Everything:

I know about Parrot, I didn't like it. I have tried Easy-Install Kits from Motorola, Parrot and more recently LG (I work at Verizon Wireless) and none of them have the same microphone or speaker clairty that a Full-Install Kit has. Full-Install kits are just superior to Easy-Install kits.

I don't know a thing about adding bluetooth, but there was a great thread on adding microphones here

Did you end ip installing the Motorola HF850? If so, I'd be very interested to hear how it went and were you chose to install everything.

I'm considering doing the same thing for my new 2006 Prius.

    Cheers,
    David

You seem to be referring to the Parrot easy-install kits. They have a number of integrated kits that get high marks from reviewers. I just installed the bottom-of-the-line CK3000 Evolution in my Prius and am very happy with the microphone and speaker clarity (it uses the stereo speakers and auto-mutes). Installed quickly - just plugged in the harness kit.

I finally just had a professional install my motorola hf850 and it only took an hour. I found the speaker a little soft, but clear, and the microphone clarity is great. It doesn't mute the speakers and I usually have to turn the radio off to hear. All in all, it's been great for me.
