Hello guys I want to see the condition of my hybrid battery filter, I have a 2016 Gen 4 Prius.

Which Philips head screw driver do I need for this screw?

I took a picture for reference

Believe you have to have at least four posts before you're allowed to attach photos. I know what you are talking about though. That screw is a plastic clip of sorts. What you have to do to get it out of there is place a Philips driver that fits into the screw head. Then, while applying negative pressure, slowly turn the screw counter-clockwise and it should bump out enough to get hold of and remove the rest of the way. Replacement is the reverse, inserting the screw retainer base into the hole then pressing in the screw until flush.

Toyota uses JIS screws. They look like Phillips fasteners, and you can use Phillips screwdrivers most of the time, but there you go.

What @AzWxGuy says sounds familiar; they’re weird screws: back them out with very little pressure til slightly raised, then maybe slip a flat blade tip under the head and lift, as you continue to turn.
