I have read the Owner's Manual to find out how to change from trip a to trip B and reset them. I don't have a 'ODO Trip' switch on my steering wheel on my 2023 XLE. What am I doing wrong? TYIA

Diagram is confusing. It's not on the steering wheel, it's on the dashboard immediately to the left of the steering column, and pretty hard to see from the driver's seat.

A better diagram is part of the Pictorial index showing the buttons on the left door and dashboard.

It is behind the steering wheel to the left. I'm short, and I have to look around the steering wheel to see that group of buttons. If it is any consolation, it is in a similar spot on the HyCam. Not a good place for any button, in my opinion.

I think they may have run out of spots for buttons in these cars (well sensible places, at least).

The screen should either be smaller, or duplicate buttons available on it

Seems like any technical product these days, including cars, the complexity and obscurity of controls evolves similarly to the Peter Principle.

i don't understand what has happened to dashboard design that makes it so difficult to place all the controls where they can easily be seen.
and reduces the glove box to a size barely able to hold gloves

The 5th generation has expanded the glovebox from gen 4. I can now fit the packet on manuals in there and leave plenty of room for all my other stuff including a screen cleaning kit, a small first aid kit, car-related documents, and numerous other items.

It is also much better than the glovebox on the '23 HyCam. That thing is awful. You open the door, and everything slides out onto your lap.
