Makes sense. The redesign was revolutionary and has been dropping jaws ever since.

Just last night I was yet again admiring my ride while walking up to it. Then I went out for a very satisfying drive through the twisties.

Pulled back into the garage clocking 70+ MPG's on the trip. Mind blowing.

it wasn’t available in time for 2023.

    >So could the 2024 Prius—new for 2023 but not available in time for last year's program—live up to the precedent set by the last-gen Prius? Head here for the full 2024 Toyota Prius COTY review.

Well I suppose the 2023 Prius is the 2024 MT car of the year. Wasn't in US dealerships this time last year, and Toyota not going make good use of that coverage when it can't help sales.

Is there enough Prii on lots now to need the coverage?
