Prius 2007, the Engine light is showing yellow, but there is no "Check Engine" text under it, does this mean anything or is it just a difference in the Australian version?

Sorry for the blurry image, it was taken at night.

    Thanks.

Also, at the same time the aircon is still blowing, but its no longer cooling.

if the AirCon cools after you let the car sit for a few hours, that usually means it was overheating from a failed inverter pump. Once it gets too hot, the AC will stop working. So the remedy is to replace the failed inverter pump (code P0A93) if you scan for codes.

Thanks, I'll hopefully be able to get the codes scanned tomorrow

The yellow engine shape is the check-engine light. It doesn't have words.

Same way the skiddy-car-track icon is the stability-control warning, even though it doesn't say "stability control".

Got the codes read today - Super Cheap Auto, thoroughly recommend, no need to book, just drove up, they read the codes and emailed me a report. Only 8min from where I live, which was just as well. Drove very cautiously :)

As expected - P0A93 :)eek:) , P0A0D, P3102, C2304, C2305, C2306, B1421 (think this is due to the ac sensor being in the shade).

The good news, the car is still under dealer warrantee, only got it a few days ago and the dealer isn't quibbling on repairs.

The bad news - dealer in on the Gold Coast, 80km away, I have to ship the car there at my cost.

    Thanks All.
