I have a set of 4 new Denso SK 16R11 spark plugs I bought for 2007 Prius but never used. Please confirm but I believe they fit all the Gen 2 (2001 to 2009). I would like to sell them for $30.00 including shipping to lower 48.

    Mendel,
Thank you for your thoughts. I did look it up on the Denso site. The Denso site confirmed that the SK16R11 fits the 07 (gen II) and not the 2013 (gen III). I now have a 2020 gen IV which takes a different plug and that is we why I am selling the SK16R11 PLUGS.

Yes, the SK16R11 is for Gen 2. Also known as the DENSO 3324 model. I just bought a dozen two weeks ago from RockAuto.

    iirc, the Gen 3 uses a SK20(something)

The revised plug is a little hotter.

Is that the plug recommended for the cold northern climate? I've got concerns about the plug overheating cracking and dropping it's pieces into the motor in the Florida climate where it's 92° in the summer. Do you have a TSB on this?

Perhaps Mendel has a TSB. I have not seen one. I purchased these plugs because I was told by The local T dealer that they were the "updated" version.

I usually purchase plugs from a local parts store, but for our ‘10 plug replacement found dealership cheapest and readily available. They confirmed revision, from 20 to 16. That’s all I know, did the swap November of 2022 (12 years), and nothing unusual noticed since.

I think the problem you're having is that the Denso SK16R11 (aka Denso model 3324) is available new from Rock Auto for $6, guaranteed to be genuine, not a chinese counterfeit. There are so many counterfeits out there on amazon, ebay and other online sites that you have a very good chance that something you buy won't be OEM, and you won't know until you start having misfires at 20k miles instead of a plug that lasts 120k+ miles.

I venture to say that if we crack down on counterfeits on flea Bay and Amazon would have to shut down
