It seems my fob has a Mechanical Key. Where's the door lock. I don't seem to have any?

Mine is on the Drivers door handle, so yours is probably on the passenger door handle.

I tried to upload a picture, but for some reason I get an error.

Are you the second owner? Perhaps someone replaced the oem handle with an incorrect one

Ours are also on the driver’s door handle (on the wrong side of course )

very odd, i would go back to the dealer and show them. have you looked again?

i'd ask you to post a pic, but the site is broken.

check the o/m, it should have a drawing of how to use the key

It is on the driver’s door handle, regardless of what country you live in, and is a silver circle with a slot in it that is covered by a silver cover. Basically, it looks just like nearly every generally manufactured vehicle made in the USA since at LEAST the 1950’s. Definitely since the OP started driving in the 1970’s. It actually looks like an automotive door lock (go figure).

I just checked the 2022 Owners Manual. Bad news folks, seems like Toyota figured if you were smart enough to get the physical key out of the fob, you would be smart enough to know where to stick it. There is no step by step instructions on how or where to stick it. Pages 176ff in the ‘22 manual.
:LOL: I can picture Red Skelton’s or George Carland’s reactions to this!!!

It’s right there, just push the key in and the little cover moves out of the way
