Maybe man depends on how much you drive I guess It's a car stays three sheets in the wind and delivery business or something probably could although your mileage would probably be down You know if you can live with 37 versus 45 or what have you certainly at that push is operating costs up for that whole time I wouldn't expect the battery prices to plummet in a year so I don't know how much of the help that will be but yeah drive up there in your MDX or however you do it and just I would have everything disassembled off the other battery if you have another vehicle obviously then that eliminates all that you can disassemble at home You need the front end it's a whole silver little box thing has its own lid the relays the computer the ground strap and the two orange wires pull through You're taking that three wires and what not sticking through and that longer silver assembly with the lid on it and the tag to the dealer You're keeping that other piece. And if you were to look under that piece that you're returning to the dealer you'll see a lot of corrosion copper that's turned green frosted nuts and connections on the ends of each module so on and so forth a lot of times just cleaning that nonsense up makes a huge difference just saying.

Yeah I put less than 10k miles a year on the car, just to and from work with the occasional store trips. You replied to my other thread about the corrosion on the bottom pan beneath the modules.

I never could find any leaking voltage after probing the crap out of everything, all the mounting holes, terminals bottom pan etc., so I'm just gonna have to assume their ok with maybe a little lost capacity. I did purchase a new wire tray #2 and nickel plated busbars/nuts because my bus bars were black green and blue. The only shiny copper was directly under the nuts.

Also I never fixed the leaky hatch so I'm gonna do that while the car is broken apart in the garage. I started checking connections for corrosion and sure enough the big white one in the back by the battery fan had a bunch on the black and brown wire leads so I'll be bypassing that. This forum has been amazing for everything.
