What is this connector?

    I found this while doing some wiring work down by the parking brake. Can someone tell me what it is?

    It was previously taped to a wire bundle. It has blue, green and purple wires running to it. 3 pin, white connector.

    I couldn't get the picture to post from my phone. I'll post it later if no one can identify it.

    FYI, this is in a 2012 Prius Two.

    does it seem to interfere with a function you are using? and it doesn't work?

    i just checked mine, there is the same taped to the big black cable, looks like only blue and pink wires i think. no idea, something dealer can use?

    Given the Two doesn't come with all features, we'd need someone with a Three or Four to chime in and see if they have it and if it's plugged into something.

    A wiring schematic would tell us anyhow if we could get one to look at.

    Poof! And suddenly there was techinfo.toyota.com ....

    Do check out the wiring diagram manual. It's not just a schematic, by the way, but a 100+ page book that will include sections laying out the physical routing of all the wiring in the car, with the locations of connectors, and another section toward the back with diagrams of the shape and color of every connector. Everything is crossreferenced that you would want to be, between all those sections.

    i'm not chuffed enough to bother. it could be radar cruise, lane keep assist, or anything the higher package vehicles have.
