Photos linked etc are being a bitch so I've given up doing a formal write up on this forum. Nothing will hotlink and I don't publicly post photos to hosting sites.

I don't have a write up completed yet but it is in process once I can confirm fitment and that the correct wiring is what I'm looking at.

 

I use this on my 2012 v. The Gen 5 would be similar. The space is very limited. You have to use the 1/4 inch female clamp on connector and the 1/4 males on the adapter's input wiring. The supplied connectors are too big.
