Another P0A94 Code...Troubleshooting help or Recall

    Greetings...it has been a while!

    2012 Prius V, 200k miles (WELL maintained/serviced by me). Two weeks ago we returned home from a 2,000 mile road trip in the mountains, loaded heavy (this is not unusual for our V). Been doing the local driving since. Yesterday I returned from the store and parked the car...then realized I needed to move it. Hopped back in and when I hit start...the dash lit up (never a good feeling). I hooked up Techstream and have the P0A94 code.

    I have been unable to find any type of troubleshooting guide for the Gen3 V. Using the Techstream I did identify the inverter pump is moving fluid (how much...I don't know, but running 4,300'ish RPMs).

    I am more than capable of replacing the Inverter but would love to have an appropriate guide for the Gen 3. I have read in several places that the recall would still be in effect for my vehicle...But I can't confirm that.

    My last resort is to take it to the Stealer and have them diagnose the system with hopes that the recall is truly still available. Sigh...

    I have been searching here, but most posts are about Gen2's. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

    You don't have a "recall" but you have a warranty extension Customer Confidence Program, until 20 years from the date of first use (so, around 2032 for you) and with no limit on miles. Consider it confirmed. Don't clear that P0A94 code. Get thee to a dealership.
