some good documentaries will be rerun on CNBC on Christmas

    The eBay Effect: Inside a Worldwide Obsession
    Game On: The Unauthorized History of Video Games
    Warren Buffett: The Billionaire Next Door
    The Age of Wal-Mart: Inside America's Most Powerful Company

    The first three were my favorite. I'm not sure if I've seen the Wal-Mart one myself. Check your local TV listings for the actual showtimes.

    For those who recorded some/all of the above and didn't watch them yet, the Wal-Mart one turned out to be excellent as well. Too bad it won't be rerun again in the next 2 weeks for those who missed it.

    i have seen all of them before and they are all highly recommended. i loved the history of video games particularly. like all businesses, the serendipity and plain luck, both good and bad, of being in the right place at the right time plays a huge role here

    Altough i enjoy watching a good documentary, viewing them around xmas is not really on my things to do list, i have been watching the first 2 episodes of lord of the ring on TV, tonight the last episode, its on public broadcasting so none stop commercial free entertainment . :D

    That's why you timeshift w/a VCR, TiVo (that's what I have) or some other PVR.

    The eBay one was on a 5 am Pacific time for me on DirecTV and the Wal-mArt one was at 6 am. Game On was at 10 am while the others were on at more convenient times. There's no way I would've caught most of these if I had to be in front of the TV at the times they were on.

    For those who missed these documentaries, all of these will be rerun on CNBC starting this Sunday 1/14. I see Big Brother, Big Business will be on at 6 pm Sunday for me.
