Want to run a relay, can I disconnect this without codes?

    Hello, I'd like to run a fused relay to power a pair of horns to lessen the load on the wimpy wiring and horn switch..also to increase performance. I was thinking that running a ring terminal to the main connection in the fuse box would make the most sense to run to the + input of the relay.. If I disconnect this or the 12 volt battery temporarily, will I get codes and or CEL??

    Keep it held down when you release the nut.
