2021 Corolla Battery Cells fit in my 2015 Prius C?

    I have a 2015 Prius C with 400000klms. I'm yet to put an OBD@ reader on to know battery state. I bought the car used with no records, so no idea if battery has been replaced or anything already. But I have bought a non reparable crashed 2021 Corolla hybrid and wondering if I can put the cells from it in my Prius C if needed.

    They'll be interchangeable if the Corolla Pack is NiMH

    But if it's lithium, no.
    Ask a toyota parts guy using the coroolla VIN

    Both NIMH by years here in Australia I think. But are the cells same size and voltage I need to work out.

    Best I can tell ya is to get the specs of the specific Corolla.
    Most Corolla here is US are also NiMH, but some are lithium and only way to tell, as some have suggested, are stickers under the hood indicating lithium. It appears no one has done further investigation, or if they have it's not readily available online anywhere that I've seen.

    Other markets besides US have had different NiMH technology included, for example the newer Aqua (not available in the US ) has a different cell / module construction, than what is know as the typical NiMH packs most of us are used to working with.

    Not knowing what exactly is in the AU market Corolla, it's best to use the cars VIM at a trusted parts lookup page or dealer parts dept. to be sure of what's inside the battery case.

    If you're in possession of the car you can always open the case and find out that way.
