My 2005 got an alignment at Firestone. 10 minutes later the stability control light came on wouldn't stop beeping. It intermittently turned off and back on. At one point the car was stuck at 25 and almost felt like it was about to stall. No engine codes, just the dash light with the beep (car with squiggly lines) Don't have owners manual anymore

Yeah that's your traction and skid control business going off so do the tires all match same size physically look maybe they made a mistake I don't know a mismatch tire will cause this I'm not sure that extreme tire pressure difference would cause it but I would certainly make sure my tires are all inflated to some reasonable number all the way around the car other than that a wheel sensor unplugged knocked loose not routed properly and now scuffed and broken by the tire rotation physical looking is the only way to get around to ruling this out I have had hub sensors undone before and it will wreak havoc on the system so given that it was just having tire and alignment service that would be one of the first things I would personally have to take a look at or make them look at I have electric impact guns and all that here at the house so if I'm here it's quicker for me to look then go back and mess with them initially.

If the light stays on, you don't need any special tool to get the codes; this way works:

Blink (a/k/a Flash) Codes – How to. | PriusChat

If the light only comes on with some beeping and then goes out, there won't be codes the same way. But a scan tool that can show the "ABS History" will show the last, I think, 4 times either the ABS or stability/traction control was triggered and everything that was going on at the time (all wheel speeds, yaw rates and g forces, etc.), which can give a strong hint where the trouble is.

Update: Car stalled today on the way back to Firestone. Accelerator was stiff and speed randomly dropped from 30 to 20. Had to pay an extra 25 for the tow as my triple A only covers 5 miles. My tires are brand new and properly inflated. One manager claimed it is the steering wheel angle sensor and referred me to another location as he was completely backed up. The second Firestone looked at it ordered an ABS diagnostic.
Over the past 4 months it had tie rods sway bars and front struts replaced. Full front and rear brakes job. Alignment was way off as in 90 degrees clockwise turn to steer straight. I had to wait to complete all suspension work plus tires. Hub bearing with spindle replaced as well. ABS and stability control lights were tripped from suspension work but no alarm/stalling and brakes functional. Those were turned off via code reader and never appeared again.
Firestone guy said he turned off a few internal sensors (I did not see the report) and claimed that it had to do with a bad 12V. I showed him a receipt for my 12V from December 23 and Project Lithium from 2021.
I asked to call my electrical engineer friend and read him the report. Suddenly the mgr said: that's OK you're good to go, no charge.

Turned off a few internal sensors yeah okay No maybe cleared a few codes might be interesting to know what those were but you're driving and all this clear I guess you're good alignment being 90% out I don't even know what that would mean strangeness for sure.
