I picked up a fixer-upper prius with known problematic hybrid drive issues. I replaced the bad/underperforming modules in the hybrid pack and balanced them. The car still has good days and bad.

First was the complaint U0100 - I replaced the main ECM and the car was happy. Today it's unhappy again complaining about both U0100 & U0111.

Now the hybrid battery pack itself the ECM was just floating in there with no bolts so I'm not convinced that the one in there is the original. The part number on it is 89890-47092 (red sticker).

When searching parts on ebay there are other part numbers too that I've found so far:

    89890-47071
    89890-47070
    89890-47090

Can anyone share any experience about these modules is one better than the others and will any of these part numbers work?

What ecu's are setting which U-codes? What warning lights are activating? What other symptoms are occurring?

What scantool are you using? (You need something that can scan ALL systems).
