use a hammer and pound it out,but if you don't have mechanical skills I would drive around with 4 lug nuts

 

Hammering would not work, use one of these ball joint separator to press the stud out.
You need to take the rotor out first.

When you go pick up the tool described above, get a torque wrench.
I'm not sure what the specs are for a G3, but it's not going to be as tight as you may think. I read somewhere that it was 85-'/lbs for a G2, but that sounds a little high to me.

Here's the important part......as much fun as it is to replace wheel studs, they're not really all that expensive but rotors can be. It's important to get the lugs all tightened to just about the same tightness to help prevent rotor warping.
Most tire places have these fancy, color-coded golly-wogg impact drivers that they sometimes use to prevent over-torquing the nutz. If used....and if the proper ONE is used....they get all of the lug nuts tightened down to just about the same torque. It's not surgery. They just have to be fairly close.
What I usually do when I have tires rotated and balanced is drive about 50 miles and then break them all free (NOT with the torque wrench!) and torque them back down to their respective values. My vehicles have 126k, 78k, and 30k - all with original OEM pads and rotors.

BTW...if you're too cheap to get the $20 tool at the Freight, places like Auto-Zone will loan you one. Yes...even the torque wrench....but really! Sounds like you may save some time and money by getting your own!

well either way you might as well buy the whole wheel hub assembly with studs cause once you pound on it, bye bye wheel bearings.

 

Don't pound on it. Press it out with ball joint separator or a similar tool (a pipe nipple and a big c-clamp might work too).

How did you happen to bust one btw; someone went overboard with an impact wrench?

 

Might not be too bad at a dealer: the repair manual shows replacing the stud right on the car, not even taking the rotor off, using a special tool the dealer probably has.

(It's not a very complicated special tool, and even just from the drawing in the manual, you can pretty much see what would work.)

Probably a fairly routine job at a tire place, too.

Yeah, the installation is no sweat—even just a stack of washers and a lug nut will do it.

Pressing the old one out, on the car, without banging on it and damaging the hub bearing, is the part that's easiest with the special (but not very special) tool.
