Low miles per gallon. MPG

So I tried to replace the wheel bearing yesterday. With the wheel off and pads removed it’s making a slight clicking sound but is spinning okay. Decided what the hell, preemptive replacement since I have the bearing in hand. The rotor was stuck so I used a caliper bolt to remove it. Bad idea! The threads on the bolt got messed up.

went to remove the wheel bearing and I stripped the last bolt. Any suggestions on how to remove and replace it are welcome.

I gave up and tried to put it all back together again and I couldn’t get the caliber bolt to work. Had to use another bolt that a mechanic in a nearby shop gave me. mpg consumption is down to 38 now.

 

Got two new bolts for the ones I damaged. Changed the wheel bearing by using an Irwin stripped bolt extractor from Lowe’s. Mpg gallon is slowly climbing. I unplugged the battery so all trip information reset. Currently 22 avg. consumption is around 39 and climbing.

my seatbelt indicator has stopped working and tpms light is still on even after clearing. System gone bad? Will read threads on that.
