Just ordered a front end mask for my 2006

    Success!!!! :D Just installed front end mask! Will have pics soon.Dont need to remove dam! You can if you want but i dont think needed.used the two outer clips on the bottom!Seems like a tight fit without using the other bottom ones!which wont fit because of dam but im sure i can rig something if i need to use them.Yesssssss!
    Update!! Pics
    Did a few little odds and ends after these pics were taken.All botton fastener clips are now secure with a small mod that i did.Not sure if my state requires two plates!if yes then ill need to remove front plate when i remove bottom mask,(no big deal).Fits like a glove!only bummer is that toyota symbol is now covered up.Installation was done in 50 degree weather!Wasnt hard to do at all.

    Got the official Toyota Mask for the 06 Prius, part number PT218-47050. Installed it tonight and only had one problem: where the bottom center clip is supposed to go, there's a retaining screw blocking it, so I can't clip it on. I'll try driving it tomorrow, and will likely rig something like run a ziptie around the screw and clip to hold it. Should work ok. I'll post pics tomorrow so you can see the difference. It was a gift, but I'll get the price & link for everyone.
    I like this one better than yours, Stanlwyjohn, because the top is shorter and the bottom doesn't go all the way around the headlights. You'll see what I mean when I post the pics.

    miwaku! Would love to see pics of your front end mask.Mine wasnt the toyota brand!it was by Lebra.If you would like to see what i did to fit the bottom see http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=27380&hl= A mod i did is shown in this post around the 4th thread.Some have been shyed away from installing the mask on the 06 (including me)because of the front air dam added to the 2006.Maybe more will get one now that they have seen our results.

    The following pics show the official Toyota Prius front end mask for the 06 installed. I got the mask from Deland Toyota (I think it was eBay). The mask does not go below the black lower lip, but between the bumper and the lip. I did not remove the lower lip, but loosened the screws. The bumper is made of plastic and when you push in with the attaching clips the bumper pushes in enough to attach all of the bottom clips on the front end mask. It was a little bit of a pain to put on, but I love the look!
