Black MFD. How to troubleshoot and fix? Maybe a fuse?

    So the dash lights had stopped working months ago. But then one day they started working and the MFD went black and dosn't work. Any idea where to start troublshooting?

    PS. This car hasn't been driven. It's been turned on every couple of months. So maybe that has affected it.

    There was a thread somewhere on here last week about touch screen and something inside that's an easy fix. That was first time I'd heard of it.
