I wrecked my personal blizzard white pearl low milage 150k mile Prius V that was fully loaded with all that you could possibly get in a model five for that year.
I always wanted one and now I'll be on the search again for another low mile one same color same everything.
If you ever want to know the safety of these here ya go.
I hit a tree that was covering the road driving through storms this morning and rolled the car off a ravine over large rocks and into water.
I walked away only being sore and my ER visit was good as well.

Impressive. Glad you're all right. Sorry about the car.

Sorry for the loss. But happy that it did its job very well.

Car safety design has very greatly improved over my driving life, and has continued improving even more since your Prius (same year as my first one) was built. A newer generation of most cars should be a significant safety step up from your just-departed one. My recent swap from that generation Prius to a current RAV4 Plug-in certainly is.

So how's the replay of the accident going inside your head? Was it impossible to avoid? Was it something a slower speed could have prevented? Did you get any intuitive hits about wanting to change your plans and drive a different direction before it happened?

I'm a big fan of learning all I can from these mishaps in order to avoid them...
