Neighbor down the street has a Windchill Pearl gen5 XLE and I've gotta say that it's pretty stunning. I've been leaning toward Guardian Gray (assuming I will be able to find one when I'm ready to buy that doesn't entail a year-long wait and/or a multi-thousand dollar extortion from the "dealer"), but I may end up deciding on the WCP.

I didn’t like the Prime interior either (I like the soothing blue of the regular hybrid) but driving the Prime around I have to say I sort of love it, Plus, since I have a red car the interior looks like it was made to go with my car. It really isn’t as loud as it looks on the videos I watched.

If you're stuck choosing between Wind Chill Pearl and Cutting Edge for your ‘23 Prius, consider this: Wind Chill Pearl is like classic cool, while cutting edge technology is all about the newest stuff. Wind Chill Pearl might give a sleek, timeless vibe, while Cutting Edge screams modern with its latest tech. The advantage of Wind Chill Pearl is its timeless appeal, while Cutting Edge brings that cutting-edge technology vibe. But hey, it's your ride, so go with what feels right for you!

Are you trying to get the more popular color or the color you want more?

It is a myth that silver hides dirt. It does not. I know so because I had the classic silver metallic Gen 4 Prius Prime. My blue magnetism hides dirt much better than the silver.

Both the silver and white are the coolest under the sun and most energy-efficient for cooling and heating. White is probably a little more energy-efficient than silver.

I thought on the Gen 5 colors, too, and I decided that I neither liked silver nor white. Silver is a very boring car color. And white is—white. It looks good in artificial light in the nighttime but not so much in the daytime. My favorite Gen 5 color is probably black, but it's also the hottest-running, least-efficient, and most dust-showing. So, I am bummed on all Gen 5 colors. I had a Barcelona red metallic Corolla once, and I probably don't want red again either. I had a silver Gen 4 Prius Prime, too, as I mentioned. And I will pass on the guardian gray and reservoir blue.

Interesting… my metallic silver 2009 never looks dirty while all the white cars around me have those streaks from the door handles etc. Plus the white looks really dirty in the winter for those of us who deal with snow.

I had a dark blue car that also showed dust, dirt and every micro scratch. I guess if I didn’t care about conserving water and having a clean “looking” car, I might like the wind chill pear but it does kind of remind me of white metallic nail polish which I’m not a fan of. : )

I meant my classic silver metallic showed more dust than my blue magnetism. White probably shows more dust than silver. My Barcelona red metallic Corolla was a champion in showing dust—it couldn't stay clean for a day.
