My work collegue's old Renault got a "new" engine after sparkplug broke and tip of that falled in the combustion chamber and got between piston and cylinder etc. They bought then used engine after that and replaced broken one with that.

I would be very suspious to put some possible china copy sparkplug to my car.

Is this an example of Chinese "Denso" spark plugs?
I returned from an 8 hour trip and about a mile from home the engine started misfire. In the morning I drove a few more miles before reaching my shop. The ignition coil has survived.

A quick gap adjustment and it'll be good to go.

Have you been able to find the metal and ceramic bits that I'm not seeing in that photo?

Real Densos don't do that unless you install them in a stick of dynamite, so I'm going with the idea that you found some fakes.

Also, if you cut the plug in half, the core should be solid copper. The cheap Chinese counterfeit ones have steel cores.

I didn't look for it. I need to replace the rest of this garbage to something else until a new set of spark plugs arrives.
I'm going to buy this set. The link doesn't work so the screenshot instead.

The ebay seller feedbacks. No items for sale anymore.

I'm not sure I understand your plan: amazon_spark_plugs.jpg shows an obvious counterfeit. You simply cannot get real Denso iridiums that cheaply on planet Earth. I wouldn't put those in a lawnmower I was throwing away, let alone a car I was depending on.

Just throwing it out there, Denso has an authorized distributor in Harrisonburg VA: Fisher Auto Parts.

Go to autozone and get the Bosch plugs. I've never had an issue with them.
Or go to Toyota, you shouldn't have an issue with them either.
And either plug will cost more than $8.

If you still can, with the help of a borescope and a skinny vacuum hose maybe, get those bits out of there. They are harder than your piston and cylinder walls.

I will NEVER UNDERSTAND why people continue to buy items like this from ebay and Amazon, when we know 95% of the ads are for fakes. ROCK AUTO has real Denso 3324 spark plugs for $6 each. Buying parts like these from questionable sellers is stepping over a $100 dollar bill to pick up a dime. If you hate your car, then keep buying from Amazon and ebay.

You can pick up a set today at an auto parts store for around $10 a plug. I think Advance Auto has a 10% coupon code if you order online for pickup.

I haven't had issues with Autolite iridium plugs and currently running $3 per plug manufacturers mail-in discount. Widely available in any auto parts store. IMHO; It's better than the counterfeit garbage that has a potential of destroying your engine.

    Just my 2 cents.......

To me it looks like the Denso store at Amazon. Search Denso Amazon on Google and the first link will be the link to this store.

I don't really depend on this car. If anything happens to it, I have another one.
In January 2023 I bought these spark plugs because 2 ignition coils died in a short time. In the summer of 2023, a hailstorm destroyed this Prius and now I plan to sell it as is as soon as I find myself a Gen3 Prius.

I don't trust the Bosch brand at all. In the 2000s, I saw enough of the quality of ECUs, ABS pumps, diesel fuel pumps and other products made by Bosch.

I had a borescope but it doesn't work anymore, I need to buy a good one.

This assumes it was a quality sparkplug? :)

If you found real ones there, my hat's off. I dearly love Amazon and shop there first for many things, but I'll never trust them for autoparts again.

Yes, about the same as I trust Bosch products.
