Properly rebuilding a hybrid battery is not a driveway job. A proper rebuild will measure each of the 28 module capacities and determine which are in need of replacement. It's easy to find a failed module. It takes a bit more time to find the module(s) that's going to fail 2 months from now. After gathering that data, properly matched replacement modules can be installed. ~50% of the time, the wire harness plug and ecu are damaged from corrosion at the ecu pin socket and must be replaced.

I've even fixed a few where the only problem with the battery was the harness and ecu. How does the car have 130k but the hybrid battery have 80K? When was it replaced, why was it replaced and with what brand was it replaced? Was it done at a Toyota dealer?
