Pre-collision malfunction, headlight malfunction, LDA malfunction all after replacing driver side mi

Sounds like he replaced the mirror with a version that was meant for a car with a different safety/sensor package.

Replace it with the correct item and the errors are likely to clear on their own- very little chance there's been permanent damage by the use of the wrong part.

Edit: adding: there is also the possibility of a coincidental, otherwise undetected problem with the car. As always, scanning the car with a hybrid-compatible scanner is always the best way to troubleshoot the more sophisticated features in these cars.

You may still need to take positive actions to clear the error.

You could try another 12v blackout- from your first post it wasn't clear if this was done when the original mirror was on the car, or when the replacement was on the car. If the disconnect was done with the new mirror on the car, the computers probably determined it was still in an incorrect configuration as soon as you reconnected the power.

A 12v blackout done while the original mirror is on the car is likely to clear the error, and (theoretically) because the original part matches the computer's expectations it won't repeat the error status.

The next-least-expensive step would be to use your own diagnostic device to connect to the car to read (and hopefully just reset) the codes shown. I recently got an Autel AP2500E for under $70 that works with my smartphone and let me clear a similar situation in our own Prius c. (There are even cheaper ones, but I can't offer direct recommendations)

Next-least-expensive step would be an independent local garage.
