    Sorry Dogman, but it won't change what I wrote. I wish it weren't so!

    Today I got confirmation from ChapmanF and independently from a Toyota parts supplier that had an "ask a question" option.

    Turns out of course that my P0A80 code may be around for a while until my car determines that is not popping up as current anymore.

    But, the non start problem I have may be related to something wrong with the 1B part(middle of three plugs) of the integration relay. I've seen many gen 2 owners having to replace a similar integrated relay as part of the fuse box.
    I still plan to test my old fuel pump(turning it into a water fountain!)
    And, may be able to run fuel to my engine by using a 12v or similar with leads to the pos and neg terminals on top of the new pump I have already installed.
    I've ordered a integrated relay, so hope it will solve the non start crisis.

    It likely won't arrive until the 29th, so plenty of time to try other tests!

    @Michael Kent Handy
    Please do not hijack this thread. The problems that you have with the no-start of your Prius has no relivence to this thread. You already have created a thread about your Prius's problems. Please post in your own thread. Thank you.

    Sorry Brian, but the P0A80 code was still relevant....if you ask Toyota....they blame everything about this non start not on their own repair manual, but on my failing hybrid battery!

    I spent 2 weeks reconditioning my traction battery. The triangle light was on and "Check Hybrid system" message was on. I cycled discharge/charge from 6 to 14 times on the different battery modules. I replaced one (#28) because it appeared swelled slightly. Every module tested at least 5000mah. After I reinstalled both batteries, I still get the yellow triangel and "Check Hybrid System". I expected the codes to be cleared after 2 weeks, but I cleared them with an OBD2 device. The code went away for a few seconds, but came back again. I do not have a decent OBD2 tester. One on my testers reads, "unable to connect". I rented one from Auto Zone, but it had no instruction. Still, I get 4 codes; P3190 (poor engine power???), P0401 (likely sticking EGR valve), POC73 and POC93 m(Inverter coolant pump) . Another 2 testers will not work with my Apple phone. My laptop is in the shop to have a 32 bit O S installed for Techstream. The OBD2 did not report a bad traction battery nor a hybrid system problem. What does this mean? Why doesn't the OBD2 report a bad traction battery or bad hybrid system?

    Please do not hijack this thread. You should create your own thread for your HV battery problems!

    @Brian1954

    You are coming off as an online bully.

    I can see if it was your thread but it is NOT.

    What you are adding to this now is not informative for the related thread title.

    Stop telling people what to do.

    Staying on topic helps keep the forum organized, and starting a new one for an unrelated issue is way more likely to get the member help. Brian's advice is sound.

    @mr.f

    Wow we did not know all that thanks for clearing all that up for us.

    We thank you for your 2 cents but here is your refund...

    No reason to bully people or become a nag and tell them where to post unless they are truely hijacking ones created thread.

    Sorry.
    I did want to stay on topic. It started as "P0A80 code-but is it really the hybrid battery". I thought my battery was bad. But since my post, I learned that the "triangle of death" can be caused by more than a bad battery. In my case, I got a code that the inverter coolant pump is faulty. I think it can cause a triangle of death.
