Thanks. Went ahead and ordered it. I might get the battery as early as tomorrow but don't plan to work on it until Friday, weather permitting.

Compare the picture in your link to the one I posted - it looks like exactly the same device with a different manufacturer painted on it. It's from Amazon, where fakes are more the rule than the exception. There may be a precision beam in-lb wrench made in Taiwan, and this may or may not be it. The price is not much higher than the garbage from the auto supply stores, which suggests to me that it is not significantly better.

I have seen a few people reference this one as a good low torque wrench:

    1/4 Inch Drive Dual-Direction Micrometer Torque Wrench | TEKTON | TRQ21101

Hopefully the one I ordered will work and naysayers about the ABS module are wrong

    It does look convincingly similar.

I like the beam style because you can instantly, directly see a live reaction to the torque you are pulling. No waiting for a click that *probably hopefully supposedly* will happen when you pull a little harder.

I'm not offering a method for validating either type of torque wrench, just stating my own preference.

I am not suppose to get the battery until the 14th. Hopefully early but seems to be shipped the slow road.

Just got the battery today/ Looks in great shape and will post pictures a little later.
It is 10:35 and need to leave for work by 12:15-30.
Will likely start work tomorrow morning.

I have put everything together and hopefully everything is okay.
If anyone is willing to take a look?

I cannot remember where this part comes from:
Edit: Never mind, found it on a picture and know where it does. Goes in the back.

Trim is not yet back in place but battery is back in car. Got everything back together, tried to start her and got the triangle again.
Panicked thinking I spent $2000 for nothing. Got the code "p0a0d 350." I had not locked the orange breaker in properly.
After fixing that and reset codes, she started and moved. Drove her for what I consider the car test loop for me.
Just drove her 11 miles. Makes a lot of noise when there is no sound baffling back there.

Unless it changes, I seem to have gained some MPG. I was getting up to 46.5 mpg and now I have been getting up to 48.7 mpg. Had to drive a fairly long trip on Saturday when I finished my road trip. A little nervous driving the car long distance after just replacing the battery.

As well, when I first started the car after butting the battery in I was hearing a clicking sound. I don't hear that clicking sound anymore so whatever it was seems to no longer be an issue. Maybe some kind of relay.

My car always gets its best MPG on long road trips. That reduces the fraction of miles covered in the low MPG warm up period, and cruising at a steady 60-70 mph still gives very high MPG. Somewhere around 52 mph is probably peak efficiency, but that speed isn't safe on most California highways.

Anyway, if you took the car for a long trip, and got good mileage, it was probably more the long trip than the new battery.

It seems to be pretty steady for a week now with getting a combined total as far as MPG of between 48.2 and 48.4 mpg compared to 46.5 before replacing the battery.
