Any hybrid battery service outfit in the Bay Area, especially East Bay, recommened?

Try locating a compatible obd2 scanner and retrieve the stored codes, no sense in guessing what the problem could be.

Does the HV battery fan near the back passenger shoulder area make more noise than usual? (tell tale sign of a failing HV battery)

Are you looking to upgrade to a new Lithium or new OEM NiMH, or more of a swap and pray that it lasts longer than 30 ft or 30 seconds?

How long to do want to keep the vehicle, and can you afford the down time if it fails on the way to school, doctors appointment, work, etc.

 

what type of 'reliable' service? you need a new pack. only dealers do that, or you can buy one and install it.
there is nothing reliable about reconditioned packs.
