Should be right there on the yellow sticker that denotes the 134a designation for the refrigerant gas and right under that little black letters that usually says the amount of oil personally I don't know what it is but it'll be a very little amount Is this for a complete compressor change You change the compressor receiver dryer condenser and the evaporator then you need the factory amount of new oil if you have not replaced all these items then you're going to need less than an ounce because most of your oil is sitting in the receiver dryer the condenser the evaporator in any place else that can sit the compressor itself etc so if you're just doing a compressor change flip it upside down over a cup and see what you take out but that much back in You still got oil in other places in the system that you're not touching so don't overfill it and you need to make sure you have what is it the ND 11 electric compressor oil can't just be any old thing from Walmart.

I'm also having this same question right now - compressor oil amount. It's not on the yellow sticker (weird). All it says is use ND8. It does give the refrigerant amount. (.99-1.21 lbs).

Take out the shortest tech info subscription, get the repair manual info?

I wonder has anyone ever acquired or put together the Gen 1 manual?

or drop $150~, let dealership do it?

I found it. I do have an FSM - of sorts. It's a bad PDF and I forget where I found it. Paid $10 or something, and you get what you pay for. The "bad" aspects are first that it's mysteriously missing some stuff. And second that it has no table of contents or index, and no real bookmarks to speak of. Just about 1400 pdf pages to comb over. Because of the latter I basically have to use searches which can get tricky. But I at least found amounts for replacing various items:

    Compressor replacement: 4.1 oz (120cc)
    Condenser: 1.4 oz (40cc)
    Evaporator: 1.4 oz (40cc)

The spec is for ND-8 which, as far as I can tell is essentially the same thing as PAG 46
