What are your reports of the maximum or minimum reported estimated range at 100% battery charge? Mine started out at 37 miles when new and has climbed up to 49 miles at 2800+ miles on the odometer. Every time I recharge the battery, the number tends to go up as the estimate adjusts to the driving conditions over time.

I rarely run the battery from 100% to 0% so I don’t know what kind of true range the car would achieve. Multiple partial runs (100% to 50%, 80% to 20%) indicate that the estimates are fairly accurate in mixed city driving. The actual range on a highway would be significantly lower, but less than 25% of the EV-only miles are above 60mph. Most of the highway miles on the car are done in HV mode.

The Toyota app shows 61 miles of EV range at 100% charge for my 2023 Prime SE. I’ve had the car for nearly 1 year and a little over 8,000 miles on it. My car is completely full of gas and charge when I took this screenshot earlier today. I only use EV mode in town and on surface streets, where I usually drive quite gingerly and mellow. I switch over to HV mode whenever I jump on the highway or when I want to have a bit of “fun”, hence the somewhat low 444 miles DTE for the ICE.

Not quite this thread, but very parallel, my RAV4 Prime is now at 7k miles. When new, it displayed an EV range just under its EPA rating of 42 miles. The top has increased over time, and this last weekend reached 52 miles on consecutive full charges.

I use all-EV for all outings short enough to do it. For longer runs, I'll use about half the battery first (to open up capacity for later regeneration), then the rest according to terrain, aiming for full depletion before the next charge opportunity. Mountain climbing on HV, save EV to where it can run greater distance, especially for gradual descents too shallow for pure gliding so some propulsion is still required. So my EV mode gets much more descent then ascent, even apart from prime regeneration descents. It seems that this has made EV estimates 'optimistic' for flat ground, especially near the top and bottom of the EV battery partition. But don't think it has settled down yet.

I got an actual 50.3 miles getting the battery down to 1% on a series of local trips this week. For me it needs to be round trips as altitude changes have a big impact if I drain the battery in a trip leaving town. That was without being obsessive about efficiency either and included 10-15 highway miles. For me it's the sweet spot between needing heat and AC, so best conditions for milage.

My estimate is now up to 51 miles when 100% charged.

I think I am getting slightly optimistic EV numbers because of hills and mountain descents in Colorado, where the gas engine almost never comes on. It really does get 40+ miles of EV range in everyday driving, but I can’t simulate the same conditions in EV vs. HV modes, so the numbers will always be a bit imprecise like all of the efficiency data available for the Prime.
