    What caused the lower production?

    Sales softened this year as some of Tesla models lost any fed rebates.
    EV sales continue to grow, but not at the breakneck speed they were growing by.

    Tesla built up inventory in the first quarter, so they cut production in order to trim that inventory.

    In an “S” curve has a rapid ramp and then the acceleration soften while sales continue at a steady, ‘hair on fire.’
