I spend a lot of time in snowy locations with ice chunks. My front splashguard is also currently missing. I was thinking about getting a metal skidplate like this one. Concerns I have seen
    - metal transfers impact to the frame / mounting points (not sure how much of an issue this is - I don't drive over rocks, just the occasional snow pile)
    - blocks oil access (but plate can be removed relatively easily)

Does anyone have this plate or another one? Or has anyone considered this and then not purchased it? If so, why?

    Thank you!

I put the Prius Offroad version on my 21 AWDe and have been happy with it thus far. (also live in snowy Utah) also installed the lift and run 27" AT tires in the winter :)
