Hello everyone, it’s been VERY hot in Dallas. I recently did oil change at dealership plus fuel injection etc. last night got a sudden warning of “Hybrid system blah blah pull over safely”. I NEVER had this error before and I was able to drive home (short distance from where it happened). My car felt heavy as I drove home. I turned on my car this morning and still the message persist while it’s able to turn on no problem.
What is the issue? Why am I getting this error and why is the hybrid system completely not working but the car is on and engine is running?

Well, first things first: make sure the hybrid battery vent system is clean. You can find youtubes that explain how to do the whole thing with nothing more than a screwdriver and a vacuum cleaner, and you can use the vacs at the car wash if you want.

After that, you're going to need to connect a Prius-aware scan tool and download real data from the car. The Autel AP200 comes highly recommended, if you are into DIY work.
