2016 Two Eco - tire recommendations?

    CC2 (Cross Climate 2) Michelin tire appears to have a little more aggressive thread with bigger gaps, is it also all season(A/S) or some sort of cross between A/S and a Winter tire? I wonder about road noise and how they will last mileage wise comparing to Defender T+H A/S, is there a comparison available?

    You would have to read the reviews on TireRack and Discount tire. The CC2 def have been snow and ice ratings than the Defenders. I believe one of them have a comparison tool as well.

    All,

    I want to thank everyone for their contributions to my question. After stalling, hemming, hawing, looking up ratings, price, treadwear vs the amount of driving I will do, etc., I ultimately went with the Michelin Defender T+H.

    Still, I'm kind of proud that my lowly Toyo NanoEnergy A29 from the factory lasted as long as they did. 8 years, and 68,608* miles. Admittedly, I probably should've changed them around the 60k mark, given the tread depth. Still, for a tire that has only a 300 treadwear rating, and seems to have not lasted terribly long given the few posts here that I've stumbled across about them, I think I lucked out on how long my original tires held up.

    That said, I also forgot how much I like the look of brand new tires for the first couple of days on a car! Bonus points.

    But, again, thanks to all who contributed here, and made me feel more comfortable about the tire choice.

    * If I'm being totally fair, one of the tires was replaced at about the 17,000 mile mark, due to a nasty puncture that couldn't be repaired, so it only had 51k on it.
