My 2016 has some flaking/chipping on the clear coat layer on the black C-pillar material. Is there some way to repair this? it's been garaged since new. C-pillar.jpg

Mine started doing that after about 6 months of my owning it. (It has never been garaged.) It is all flaked off now, 7.5 years after I bought it (dealer had it for 14 months before I purchased). I have no idea how to stop or fix it. It looks fine once it all goes away, just less shiny.

They're plastic trim covers. You can remove them, sand them down and respray the clear coat on them. Most people will "vinyl wrap" them.

Or you can just buy replacements. I believe they were less than $100 each, last I checked.
