I would be most grateful if someone would be kind enough to let me have the pin-outs for a 2015 steering controller/ECU (as per the attached photo). The 'net is awash with info for 2009 models, but I can't find anything for the module I have here (which came without any cables). Any help would be most appreciated!

Gen 3 had two flavors of those, one for the brush-commutated steering motor in the 15-inch wheel trims, and one for the brushless steering motor in the 17-inch wheel trims. Do you happen to know which one that is?

I'm thinking that one looks like the brushless flavor.

The big three-terminal connector on the left has the three phase outputs to the brushless motor. The next connectors in order are for the brushless motor's rotation angle sensor (needed for the ECU to control the phase outputs in sync with the motor), the steering column torque sensor, the interface to the rest of the car (CAN bus and an IG-switched power input), and the heavy power/ground connections.

The pinouts for all those can be found either in the wiring diagram, or in the repair manual under "terminals of ECU" (making sure you're in the brushless steering section). The wiring diagram shows all the wires for both flavors: pay attention to the (*1) notes on the only-for-brushless things, and (*2) on the only-for-brush-commutated things.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer - it's very much appreciated; I will now endeavour to find a wiring diagram! The steering module that I have here has this on the label:

I should add that as this steering column is going in a restomod (with a CAN), I have no need for a full manual - I just need to know how to wire it up!

Bearing in mind that I got the control module from a different supplier to that for the column, it's just occurred to me that I don't know if the column is a brushed or a brushless version - how do I tell? It has the part number JJ301-000331, if that helps!
