I will look for them at the Electric Truck conference. Actually, I'll survey the floor.

Always liked the rugged utility design. Probably goes back to seeing land cruisers on wild life shows as a kid.

Being smaller, this should be less than the $71k Grenadier, but likely still outside my price range. Though the range extender would mean needing just one car.

edit: Likely will be way too pricey for me. The Grenadier is an ICE model.

CAD$91,929 for the Grenadier to start ($101k for the other two trim levels).Whew!

    For reference, a Defender 110 S P300 starts at CAD$79,100 for 2024.

Have spotted a couple of the newer Defenders, and the model has drifted away from the rugged aesthetic. Having a tailgated mounted spare is about the extent of it. And what was the thinking for the extra wide C-pillar?

Yea - & never mind its thirsty city mileage ... a meager 18mpg.
Jeez - talk about a serious need to be a plug-in.

What? They offer a mild hybrid. What more do you want?

18 mpg and a stratospheric sticker price, to get semi-decent h/v controls; I'll pass.
