    Hello,

I recently used the Techstream software (12.20.024) for the first time to run some diagnostics on my 2011 Prius. I have some question about the UI on the freeze frames. I cannot for the life of me find a manual for the Techstream software. Does anyone know if the columns labeled [-3, -2, -1, 0, 1] on the Freeze Frame Data are timestamps? Do they represent multiple 'snapshots' of the live data over a set period of time?

I am getting a P0A80 error code and am trying to look at the battery block voltages, but want to make sure I am interpreting the info correctly. I included a screenshot of what the top of my Freeze Frame window looks like with the columns in question highlighted.

The answer to both of your questions is yes. The trouble code was triggered at "0". So -1, -2, -3 are data points before the trouble code was triggered. 1, 2, 3 are data points after the code was triggered. I do not know what the time intervals are between the data points.

Look at the 14 battery block voltages at data point 0. What is the voltage difference between the highest voltage and the lowest voltage. This is called the voltage different. If it is about 1.2 voltages, then one of the cells inside one of the two modules in the lowest block has gone bad.

How many miles do you have on your Prius?
