    Been meaning to do this:

Again, little more than a mad magazine fold. Already makes that pickup look better.

Speaking of smaller trucks & far from being Aficionado of older Toyota pickups ... the father-in-law's is over ¼ century old. Visiting Arkansas a few weeks ago, he mentioned people have come up & ask him if he wants to sell it having just some $48,000 miles on it. Don't know if it's anything special or why anyone would try to buy it but I know they stopped making this model in the '90's in preference for the Mongo land barges of modern times.

We are looking for a pickup to pull a travel trailer but I think this thing might not do the job.

Maybe cause it is smaller than the new Tacoma, which is around the size of the gen1 Tundra. Also why the Maverick is outselling the Tacoma this year.

    Spotted a Subaru Baja.

@hill Also, it’s 48,000 miles. These things go for 500,000 or more so it’s barely broken in

My eyes are overloaded lately, working in France for a while.

Peugeot 508- not sure what vintage. Just dripping with style.

    2024 Yaris Hybrid- gorgeous!

I think my favorite was a Renault Megane estate wagon. Stunning.

It's really nice seeing Audis and Mercedes that are just cars. No luxury features like you see on the USA versions.

Honestly the only thing I don't love about it is that it has a center console. Always loved the fact that our Prius c doesn't; really makes the small cabin feel bigger.

I didn't get to see many cars today, too busy.

But I did see a Toyota Traigo lift truck. All-electric, lithium-ion power with a very fancy ergonomic seat and control arrangement.

I'm not a materials handling expert, but it sure seemed like the fanciest forklift i'd ever seen.

Saw a RHD UK-import Audi TT (Specifically, Yorkshire area given the first letter of the plate). The owner kept the old UK plates underneath their new plates.

In Pennsylvania, an antique/classic registered car can use historical or out of country plates, provided the plate is filed with the DMV.

Today I saw a few oddballs including a Dacia Lodgy and a Fiat Multipla.

Now this one really caught me... I was walking down the street and saw a blobby SUV that looked like all the other blobby SUVs, except this one had unfamiliar details. A Lynk & Co EV. Not sure which model, didn't have time to get a picture.

I also saw a Prius+, maybe only the second Prius I've seen since I got here.

Started a Lynk & Co thread in the EV section.
    Lynk & Co | PriusChat

Didn't the Prius+ have a third seat row? I know it used Li-ion batteries. Being an import, the tariffs keep the Prius sales down against the EU local Yaris, Auris, and now Corolla.

I didn't think to look, and maybe for the best. It's the sort of neighborhood where somebody looking in the back windows of cars might not be received well.

The Lynk & Co EV had some wear and age to it, not new. I understand some models have been around for 8 years now.

    Some good spots yesterday:

    LEVC TX electric taxicab

Mercedes Sprinter EV used as commercial delivery van. The thing was painted up to promote the fact that it was all-electric.

    Two brand new Mirais

5 brand new Corolla hybrid station wagons. They're gorgeous. I'd have a two-Corolla garage if Toyota sold the hybrid hatchback and the hybrid station wagon in the USA.

That'd eat into Rav4 sales. Can't have it.

Think the Mirai is still an official car of the Olympics. Wonder if there are hydrogen stations there, or if they had to set up mobile ones?

Was thinking the LEVC looked kinda like a London cab, and it turns out they are the London Electric Vehicle Company, and they make taxis.

That would be hilarious. Picture a massive diesel generator running a 10,000 psi electric compressor - which feeds another massive diesel generator - refrigerating the contents down to liquid just to add insult to injury

All seven of those new Toyotas were wrapped in Oly sponsor graphics.

I saw an Auris wagon (hybrid) today. Looked decent even with body damage.

I also saw a gorgeous BMW 3 series, E30 body 4-door in very good condition. It made me remember how much I liked pre-1997 BMWs.
