    Hello,

I am not knowledgeable in these things at all and I have a hard time understanding what the mechanic is explaining. My ABS and Brake lights are on and I need them to be cleared to pass state inspection. I brought it to a shop specializing in hybrids, and I was given a quote of $900 for an ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement.

This feels like a little much from what I've found - but I could be wrong. Does anyone have any advice please? Below is some more information.

    ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSES - BRAKE LIGHT
    Codes:
    • C0205 Left front speed sensor circuit
    • C1236 Object attached to tip of left front wheel speed sensor
    • C1345 Not learning linear valve offset
    Notes:
During visual inspection we found that there has been a subpar repair at the body side of the harness of the LF wheel speed sensor, and also damage on connector side of that harness. We will need to repair those items and inspect the tone ring on the axle, and replace LF wheel speed sensor. It is unknown at this time if the C1345 code will go away with these repairs, but the above repairs have to be completed first and we can re-test.
