yes. but for Prius prime top trim to top trim, Canada is selling at 37K USD (after destination fee) Canada still offers a lot of "tax credit". where as in the US Prius Prime is $43 K . So you pay $6K more in the US for the same car, that's 16% more than Canada

An all EV version of a Prius with a 300 mile range.

A couple more inches of head clearance to getting into the driver's seat.

NEEDS MORE INTERIOR ROOM! I tested out a 24 Prius when we were in the process of getting my wife's Rav4 hybrid and I could not believe how tiny the interior is! I'm 5'11" and 280lbs, our 2015 Prius has plenty of room for me, the 2024 I couldn't even get in the back seat and just barely fit in the driver's seat. With the seat all the way back and down the steering wheel was still in my crotch. Couldn't see the gauges due to the top of the steering wheel blocking them. Cargo area is so small it is borderline useless, looked to be about half the volume of our 2015. It's a shame because the styling is great, seemed like higher quality interior materials and the increased power would definitely be nice but the car is just unusable the way it is currently.

In the words of Ralph Kamden from the Honeymooners, "You must be riot around the water cooler."

You post an idea on a DISCUSSION board, and about half the responses focus on reasons to not discuss the topic or don't address the original question.

Anyway, it's rare for any model from any company to go two consecutive years without at least minor adjustments, corrections, enhancements and/or improvements. Somehow a manufacture has to do something to attract attention get people off the fence.

Whether selling smart phones, tablets, TVs, lawn mowers or cars, people want to see progress.

Even more reason to post a wish-list here.

I'm 99.9 percent certain that Toyota reads the comments on this site. Actually, every company monitors on-line comments and information regarding their products and services. They'd be fools not to.

This Prius Chat site is a way to let Toyota know what their most loyal customers, aficionados and potential customers are saying. This is like walking onto the lot, virtually.

Everything works for me. Getting in and out, seeing over the steering wheel, reaching the vol button on the screen, turning on the interior lights.
Only thing that didn't was the garbage Toyo tires on 19's which I already remedied with 17's 225/55/17 Conti's

I get the mpg's I get with the way I drive and don't track it or care.
    No wish list for me

It's out of my price range now, so I'm a cheap O B , life's to short. If Toyota thought it might have a chance in this market, I'd be the first one in line for a new gen plugin aqua if it was priced similar to Gen 4 and specs to match or better.

    Gen 6 1/2 : )

I’ve come to terms with the fact that I just need to get the Gen 5 because I don’t have unlimited time to wait for something else to appear. Already risky waiting this long. Ideal world I would wait until 2026 to test drive the Forester hybrid. I know I would hate the fuel economy so what’s the point except to find out it has other things I don’t like.

Worse case if I have issues with the 19” tires (inevitable), I will switch out the 19” wheels. I’ll also put money towards spare tire kit.

Yes, I need to stop reading these posts.

I hope I didn’t already ask you this…I took a break for a while. What wheels and Conti tires did you get. Do you mind sharing a photo? Thanks!

    This isn't Toyota's fault.

I'm 6'3 215 with room to spare. At your size you don't need a car, you need a hay wagon.

    User error.

    Hyperbolize much?

If they added a turbo, I think you could still do REALLY well on fuel economy with a light pedal. Maybe even have a boost retard. Then when it's time to rock 'n roll, you could let her run!

Indeed, but Toyota has been better than average at combating microwave buttons in cars.

They should fix this with pedals on the floor that allow the driver to regulate speed.

Are you sure they don't have that? VW's had that a decade ago.

The three flash turn signal may be the best thing to happen to cars since the electric starter motor.

If it's like the Corolla, it already has this. If anything, the adaptability favors excessive distance at higher speeds even on its closest setting.

No manufacturer that sells most of its product before it even gets off the ship at port is going to feel marginal consumer preferences.

I wouldn't mind seeing a bigger rear motor.
